Brewing Southern English Brown Ale
Grains – Pale base-malt along with generous use of dark crystal malts. Can make use of small amounts of dark roast malts and malted wheat.
Hops – Moderate use of UK varieties early in the boil.
Yeast – Fruity ester-producing English ale yeast.
Water – Moderate to high carbonate levels (hard water).
