Description
This French landrace hop has good aroma properties and extremely low alpha-acid content. It is a naturally occuring hop variety from the area near Alsace. This is in contrast to modern clonally-propigated cultivars. Strisselspalt is generally mild with pleasantly hoppy and floral characteristics. It is primarily used in delicately flavored pale lagers.
