Description
Cluster hops are thought to originate from uncontrolled hybridization of wild North American hops and domesticated hops from Europe. These strong spicy hops are said to provide flavor and aroma similar to blackcurrants. Cluster was probably one of the first hops used for large scale brewing in North America. It is sometimes used to produce reproductions of historical beers.
