Description
American grown Brewer's Gold are an old-style bittering hop. Unlike many recently developed cultivars it is generally not recommended for late additions. Brewer's Gold originated in the UK, but production there has waned. The US and Germany are now the main producers. When used for bittering additions, Brewer's Gold imparts a subtle spicy and blackcurrant undertone.
