Cherry Smoked Malt

Description

This malted barley has been smoked over a cherrywood fire. It retains the relatively pale color of pale malt, but gains smooth smoked flavors. This malt has enough diastatic enzymes to possibly self convert with special attention. Gernerally, it will not be used for all of the grist; although it is comparatively mild to peat smoked malt.
