Description
The Hallertau Tradition variety was bred from Hallertau Mittlefreuh. Sometimes it is simply called Tradition. It has many similarities with Mittlefreuh but Tradition has slightly higher alpha-acids and better disease resistance. It imparts delicate and refined hop bitterness. The aromas of Tradition are described as floral and herbal.
