Description
This American hop cultivar boasts moderately high alpha-acids along with excellent aromatic properties. Amarillo has a citrus and floral aroma. This is similar to other American aroma cultivars especially Cascade and Centennial. Amarillo's citrus qualities are slightly different. While they have some of the classic American grapefruit notes they lean more towards sweet orange flavors.
